The 2015 Sony World Photography Awards started accepting entries last year, ushering in a months-long competition poised to unearth the best emerging and professional photographers around the globe. The Huffington Past has been following the contest since last September, showcasing the best entries submitted in categories like travel, arts and culture, landscape, nature and wildlife, architecture, people and contemporary issues.
